How You Can Help?
The potential for the Okavango Research Institute to make lasting contributions to wetlands research and the sound natural resource management of the Okavango Delta is limitless.
Having firmly established itself internationally as a centre which prioritises practical applications of its research findings, ORI/HOORC helps local, regional and international bodies - and Botswana citizens - remain forever committed to and active in the conservation of this most magnificent wildlife and wilderness refuge.
If you are a stakeholder in the Okavango Delta - as recipient of its bountiful resources, as investor in its tourism industry, as visitor or resident captivated by its many splendors, or as a citizen of the world concerned about global wetlands conservation, you may wish to play a part in ensuring its continued survival.
Donations of all kinds are very welcome.
This can include sponsorships for students, equipment for research, funding for specific research projects (see our list of Ongoing Research. projects), book collections, donations to produce community outreach material and any other contribution.
If you wish to contribute, please write or send a fax message to the Director or the Administrator of the Institute, (ORI, Pr. Bag 285, Maun, Botswana, FAX int-267-6861835).
